Toys for kindergartens in Syria
Kindergartens in Damascus and Aleppo. During the civil war the Don Bosco Sisters held out in Syria. They stayed for the people there and kept the hospital in Damascus operational even during the worst of the fighting. Now it is time to rebuild. The people who are still there are destitute. The focus is now on education because young children learn to play peacefully with others from a very early age here, regardless of their religion. For the youngest of them, who have so far only known the horrors of war, these hours of normality are a glimmer of light.
