Project detail
A packed lunch for one month for a child in Sri Lanka.
Packed lunches for the poorest. Only the children from the poorest communities attend the Roman Catholic school in Koralawella.

The government provide children, from the first to the fifth class, with packed lunches daily. For most of the children it is the only daily food they get and for many the only reason to ever go to school. Bread & Buns bakery in Koralawella provides sandwiches daily to approximately 140 children for 5 rupees (instead of 25 or 30 rupees). The rest of the cost is covered by Lanka-Help.
