Project detail
5 impregnated mosquito nets for families in Tanzania
Save lives with mosquito nets. About 600 thousend people die of malaria every year - the vast majority of them in southern Africa. Mosquitoes transmit the deadly virus. For children and pregnant women the disease is particularly dangerous. Their immune system is not strong enough to combat the virus. Mosquito nets are the most effective protection against malaria. In Tanzania impregnated nets are distributed to pregnant women and families with infants. This is a SolidarMed project.
