5 trips with the e-bike ambulance in Moçambique
Where bicycles save lives.  In childbirth, every minute counts. But in rural Moçambique, there are no ambulances or taxis. At best, a pregnant woman is transported on the back of a bicycle to the next health centre, which is often many kilometres away. For pregnant women with complications, this is life-threatening. Thanks to Swiss technology and robust African bicycles with trailers, patients can be quickly transported over the bumpy, unpaved roads to the next health facility, where they receive professional help. This is a SolidarMed project.
